You know the best way to preserve your mental sanity and survive life's beatings? Putting someone else out to soak the beatings for you. Nothing like having several bone shields protecting you and recycling them for more beating.Ĭlose to giving up, or giving in to some not-so-honorable-tactics, I was extending my camping site when I built the Crypt, which describes its purpose as "Unlocks a new class: Necromancer". How many times can a hero take a beating until it is enough? Harvey Dent once said, "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain." Necromancer is one of the most fun classes in the game. Seriously, the insanity of what goes on in the loop world was starting to affect me. The ones he removes will change as the battle goes on, so expect things to come and go.I nearly gave up. He will completely wipe away your inventory at the start of the battle, but will only temporarily take away a couple of your stats or equipped items. Omega is a bit of a pain as he is able to remove some of your items or stat. Try and plan playing your cards appropriately in order to skip a boss or two as it'll make things a lot easier if you don't need to burn a resurrection on one of the earlier bosses. Normally, you'll skip passed the second boss you've triggered, however, if you spawn The Hunter and then fill up the bar the rest of the way, you can skip the Hunter fight and go straight to the final fight against Omega. However, if you are able to fill up past the next point, you'll be able to skip one of the two bosses. There are three points along the boss meter now and when you reach one of them it'll spawn the subsequent boss. There is a chance to skip one, or maybe even two of these bosses if you play your cards right - literally. Or, at least that's what the game intends. In order to reach the final boss you'll need to fight through the first three bosses The Lich, The Priestess, and The Hunter. This saved my last run against the final boss, Omega. Make sure to have a Hungry Grove near the boss fight as it will instantly kill every boss as soon as they fall in under 20% of their maximum health.Ransacked villages work in a similar way. Spiders are a relatively easy enemy to beat and because they spawn in such large numbers, they're a great resource for getting better equipment and more cards to quickly fill the boss meter.Bosses and enemies scale with each loop so the longer you wait, the harder it gets. Speaking of quickly, try and beat the game in the shortest number of runs possible. This is important to get you passed the early game as the Lich spawns rather quickly. Fill up the area around your camp so the Lich's Palaces do not spawn.Make sure to have a lot food in your camp in order to make the most of this effect. Kitchen Knife: +1% base HP for every food item placed in your camp. Here are a couple of powerful supply items you should make sure to have in your storage. These items give small bonuses individually but make a huge difference when stacked, so the more you can add, the better. Warehouse x2: Building Warehouses significantly increases the amount of storage available in your supply. Herbalist Hut (Upgraded): Upgrading the Herbalist Hut will give you more potions and will allow your potions to heal more each time, giving you added survivability.įield Kitchen (Upgraded): Upgrading the Field Kitchen allows you to heal more when passing through the Cozy Camp tile, giving you added survivability. This might seem like a minor difference, but having this much of a damage increase from the start of a run from the very start is a game changer. War Camp (Upgraded): The War Camp increases you Hero's strength by 4% by default and up to 20% when fully upgraded.
